Trekking Emerald Lagoon in private service

5 hours and 30 minutes

Moderate

Service available for cruise passengers. Not experience needed. Pick up and lunch included
For safety reasons, mountain clothing is necessary for this activity. In case you do not have the appropriate clothing you will have the option to rent.

We get to the starting point by following national route 3 for about 17 kilometers; we begin the hike at the trail’s parking lot, which quickly takes us deep into the forest.

The trail takes us close to a beaver dam and crosses the valley until finding a peat bog, where it will follow the Esmeralda river all the way to its source in the Esmeralda lagoon. After a final hike, we will get to the lagoon: frozen in the winter and dazzling us with its stunning color during the summer.

If the weather is good enough, we will have lunch by the lagoon with a breathtaking view of the Albino glacier, the lagoon, and the surroundings.
Afterward, we will take the same trail back to the transfer that will take you to your hotel.
